However, if you’re up for hard work, like to clean, and LOVE dogs, Dawg Gone It is the place for you! Current open positions are listed below, but we also accept applications year-round even if there are no current openings. We’d love to hear from you!

Open Positions:

Dawg Gone It currently has openings for full-time or part-time Dog Handlers.

This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals that love dogs and enjoy working with them. The successful candidate must be a team player with strong interpersonal communication skills with both co-workers and customers. Weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) and holiday availability is a requirement for any shift between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.Dog handlers must have the following skills and abilities:

1. Be very comfortable being with dogs all day (both groups of dogs and individual dogs) and have a calm assertive presence that dogs will respect.

2. Be attentive and able to watch dogs closely for signs of aggression, illness, or rough play. Dog handlers must be able to quickly discern aggressive behavior and stop or redirect behavior before it escalates to maintain a safe environment.

3. Be comfortable with using computer software and working directly with customers.

4. Be physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds easily.

5. Be able and willing to help with all aspects of cleaning protocols, including mopping urine and picking up feces.

6. Be on time for all shifts:

◦ The ideal candidate will be able to work any shift during the week from 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., but weekend availability is absolutely required and part-time candidates who can only work Saturdays and Sundays will be considered.
